The new email tool is seen as a spiritual successor to the email client that shipped in Opera years ago before it changed direction and simplified the browser.

According to Jon von Tetzchner, the average person has two email addresses and with Vivaldi Mail, you have the option to add as many as you’d like. The new Vivaldi Mail is a fully-fledged email too with customisability that you’d expect from a client such as Thunderbird. This snapshot is the first version to ship with these new tools, but they need to be enabled. The latest Vivaldi snapshot has launched today with technical preview versions of Vivaldi Mail, Vivaldi Feed Reader and Vivaldi Calendar all built right into the browser.
